Since 1986, when a group of young & energetic members decided that they were not a glum lot, The Camping Trip has been a place for clean and sober fun.
Our current location is Camp Charles Campground in the heart of the Poconos in Bangor PA.
We have 3 trips per year: Memorial day weekend, July 4th, and Labor Day weekend. Join us for clean & sober relaxation, fun and excitement.

Another year brings another round of clean and sober camping trips! This years dates are:
Memorial Day Weekend: May 26th thru May 29th (passed)
July 4th Weekend: June 30th thru July 3rd
Labor Day Weekend: September 1st thru September 4th
Come and relax in this beautiful, fun and family friendly environment. We are surrounded by the iconic Pocono mountains in a wooded setting at the beautiful and rustic Camp Charles Campground in Bangor PA.

Take time to just relax around the camp fire. Meet new friends,
tell stories, take a nap. Relaxation keeps your heart healthier, cuts stress,
reduces muscle tension, improves brain function and memory, and helps
you avoid depression, anxiety, and obesity. It boosts your immune
system and helps alleviate the symptoms of many medical and psychological disorders.
Relaxing is important!
There are multiple meetings scheduled daily. Everything from “The Big Meeting”, or
“The Eating Meeting”, to Men’s, Women’s, Meditation or Big Book meetings.
If you want to host your own meeting, just put it up on the board!
Pocono Mountains has an incredible list of river fun available.
They offer daily canoe/kayak/raft rentals and river trips perfect for novice
to experienced paddlers.
Daisy Field Farm is a family owned horse farm and wild life preserve near White Haven, PA in the Western Pocono Mountains.
Lakota Wolf Preserve is a wolf sanctuary in Columbia NJ.
